in my book, Greg Rucka is a smart, smart guy. I don’t read his novels, but I read his comics as much as possible. In this post (behind the link) he goes off a bit on grim’n’gritty, and says what I think a lot of writers who might hope to work in LA wouldn’t say: The execs at studios are completely out of touch, and this is why their movies fail. Including DC’s Green Lantern and what the suits decided it needed for a sequel.
